A Week in the Life of a *Busy* College Freshman

I have always been the type of person who likes to stay very busy. I always am looking for clubs to join, homework assignments to do, and just ways to make sure I am constantly doing things. This year I am apart of four clubs on campus and I have a leadership role in one of them. I am also conducting research and attend bi-weekly meetings for that. On top of that, I volunteer at the University of Michigan Hospital three hours a week. Here is a look at what my typical schedule is like.
Monday:
On Monday, I get up at 9AM to get ready for the day and make it to the dining hall to eat breakfast by 10:15. I then spend about 30 minutes eating and reading the news before I head to my 11:00 French class. After that, I do homework for about an hour before my 1:00 Biology lecture. This lecture lasts for an hour and a half, and immediately after I head to my Biology discussion from 2:30-4:00. After I go back to the dining hall to eat dinner and do some homework. At 6:00, I attend either a meeting for Sister 2 Sister (an organization on campus that focuses on unifying black women on campus, and is a safe place to talk about life issues that affect us), or I attended a meeting for You Good Fam? (an organization taht discusses mental health in the black community). After that, I return to my dorm and work on more homework.
Tuesday:
On Tuesday, I wake up at 5:15 AM to get ready for my volunteer shift at the hospital at 6 AM. The shift lasts 3 hours, and my job is to transport patients and families into to room where they go for Pre-op. During down time I can do homework, and this is when I get the majority of my work for my research done. After my shift is over, I head to the dining hall for breakfast, do homework, and go to my French class at 11AM. After my french class ends, I go to my dorm, do laundry and study before heading to my Research seminar at 4:00. After my seminar ends at 5:30, I go eat dinner before attending a meeting for Dance Marathon (an organization that raises money for the children is C.S. Mott and Beaumont Children's Hospital) at 6PM. Then, I return to my dorm and do homework.
Wednesday:
On Wednesday, I wake up at 9AM to get ready for my weekly research meetings with my research mentor at 10 AM. At these meetings we discuss that work I have done so far and any questions that have come up since our last meeting. Then, I go down to the dinning hall for breakfast and do homework before heading to my biology lecture at 1PM. After my biology lecture, I get lunch, study, and then go to a meeting for the Black Undergraduate Medical Association (an organization where I get to spend time with other black Pre-med students and learn more about the steps I should take to be successful). The meetings are typically 6-8PM and after I return to my dorm and do more homework.
Thursday.
On Thursday, I wake up at 9 AM before my French class. When that ends I do homework for an hour than I go to Office Hours for my Biology course. Then, I have a Biology lab from 2-5PM. After that, I typically go do homework and eat dinner with my friend before watching Grey's Anatomy. Naturally, Thursdays are typically my least productive day.
Friday:
On Friday, I wake up at 9AM to go to French class at 11, I attend my Women's Studies discussion at 12, go to biology lab office hours at 1, then attend my biology lab lecture at 2. When that is all over I eat lunch and then go to my room and either work on homework for Monday, watch something on Netfllix, or take a nap. On Fridays sometimes I choose to either go out with my friends or stay in the dorms and just hang out.
